Here's Winnie on her 10th birthday!
We were busy prepping for another Harry Potter birthday party later in the week, so we thought owl cupcakes to share with her class were the perfect idea.
These were my kind of cupcakes - easy peasy to make, but still cute. Not like the yellow wiener minion fiasco of 2015!
Winn chose Red Robin for her special family dinner. Bring on the fried cheese curds!
We did a little present-opening.
This is the only kind of cat allowed in our house!
She especially loved Dad's present - giant produce from our garden!
She opted for pink cookies (her dad's favorite) instead of cake. This is one special girl right here! Winn might be a bit standoffish when you approach her for a hug or a lengthy conversation, but she has a giant heart full of love. She always looks for ways to help me around the house, she sacrifices the best of everything so her siblings can feel special, and she never asks to be rewarded for her thoughtfulness. She's a magnificently great student at school who just comes home, does her homework and practices her piano without being asked. She's secretly got a huge imagination and a witty, dry sense of humor. She adds so much sunshine to my day. Our family would probably cease to function without her! We love you, Winn! Welcome to the double digits!
