Love Day

We made a quick trip to Utah for Valentine's Day to tour the newly-reopened Provo City Center Temple. It was so beautiful!  It was extra special because Grandma Jan came up from Torrey to join us.  The Botts are related to one of the engineers who helped on the project and he let us sneak around a few extra rooms that were off-limits to the general public.  It's all about who you know!  The girls thought the bridal room was spectacular and we got to see and touch the cornerstone before the prophet had it placed in the temple.

We celebrated the rest of the holiday by frosting, sprinkling and eating way too many cookies!

These cousins sure love each other a lot! We never have to worry about fights or hurt feelings because they are way too busy playing intensely hard to bicker.

Here is our recipe for family bliss:  Lots of sugar, a few card games, a herd of kids running around in dress ups, caffeine, lots of jokes and laughter and more sugar!

By the time we part ways, somebody's kid usually barfs, another one takes a 10-hour nap and we all go through sugar withdrawals!
