We were totally ready for some fun in the sun!
We wasted no time diving right in! The kids begged and pleaded for us to get them a water slide like Yaya's. We caved in the first week of summer vacation! It has been a worthwhile investment. They use it almost every day!
June started another softball season. She hadn't thrown a pitch all year, but she wowed everyone at pitching tryouts when she stepped up to the mound and threw 4 strikes. She was the very first girl picked in the draft!
It only took one game with bangs in her eyes to get her to the barber shop. She's just a girl who loves short hair! And we love her with a pixie!
We tried to be dedicated this summer and get our workouts done. Workouts with 3 helpers are never as effective, but they are always more fun!
Auntie Audra introduced us to her new baby boy - Major Tom. He's a cute little bugger, but he has the worst puppy gas I have ever encountered!
Kolby and I put on our old painting clothes and went to work on Nana and Grampy's basement. He's still got the skills, and I'm still a good flunky!
Kolby was also reunited with his twin - Chad Johnson. They've really missed each other since residency.
Winters are hard on Tooder, but sometimes the heat can be a bit unbearable for the big guy too. Sometimes you've just got to find a cool, quiet spot in the house to take a nap!
