We got the girls going in music lessons when they turned 8. I just figured any sooner and they wouldn't have the attention span to take it seriously and really learn to play. Can I just say that nothing has made me happier than to have a home filled with their music? This is June's 4th year playing violin and Winnie's second year on Piano. June's got a very strong ear and can learn almost any song she listens to. Winn is so good at focusing on the music reading and helps her mom out with that skill for church choir all the time! They both play beautifully. I especially love how they invite each other to learn their songs. Takes me right back to my childhood filled with family practice nights!
Determined not to be left out, this kid has his heart set on a sweet drum set! Not much of a surprise there, I know! What could be better than an instrument you can hit, smack, and beat? Your time's coming, buddy!
