The big day finally came! Nana's 60't birthday bash in Disneyland! It was all the more special because it was Curt's kids' first time in the most magical place on earth. Tish told the kids they were driving from St. George to Las Vegas to see their dad who had been working away from them in Montana for months. They were pretty excited about that. I wish I could have been a fly on the wall when he met up with them at the airport and continued driving down to Cali!
We told our kids the night before we flew out. Winn gets really nervous to fly so I didn't want to spring it on her on the way to the airport. She needed a night to process it all.
Only the promise of two days in Disney could make the flight worth it!
This kid loves to fly!
It was so nice to celebrate Nana Deb. She's really the glue that holds this whole crew together. We may give her a hard time about salt, microwaves and pitchforks, but we'd all be lost without her!
This is probably the last Disney trip we will make with a stroller. Looks like we will need a couple of lockers to store all our snacks, jackets and souvenirs from here on out!
Some of the bigger kids (June and Amos) were brave enough to ride everything - even if Amos did have to do a few butt-grab dances to psyche himself out while waiting in line!
The littler guys were happy to ride the safe stuff!
I love that all these cousins got to spend this vacation together! I know their Okie family misses them, but we are loving having them live closer to us!
You know we'll be going back - we can't stay away for too long!
