I LOVED our family costume theme this year for Halloween! Especially since it didn't require me to sew one stitch of fabric! We just recycled the costumes we used for Klive's Ghostbusters birthday party!
The month of October is always full of excuses to dress up and eat candy. Klive was all too happy to toss on his jumpsuit and proton pack for his class Halloween party. Does a proton pack count as a weapon? because I'm pretty sure weapons aren't allowed in a kindergarten class. Maybe we got away with it because it's such a high-tech piece of equipment! Also, an early box filled with candy and spooktacular goodies put big smiles on these faces! Thanks, Yaya!
Winnie's piano teacher always puts on a fantastic Halloween recital and the kids are encouraged to dress up. Winnie went as a crazy cat lady and June, if you couldn't tell, went as Dwight Schrute from The Office. Beets, Bears, Battlestar Galactica!
Here we are enjoying our annual pumpkin carving extravaganza. Our poor, pitiful, dumped-upon, misunderstood teenager missed out because she got mouthy with her mom and spent the evening grounded in her room.
We like to take a theme and beat it to death - so we had to go with Ghostbuster pumpkins!
Finally, the spooky, fun-filled night arrived! We're ready to believe you!
Dad finally got to display his 12-foot mallow man in all his glory! It made his dinky, stay-puft suit look like a joke! Mini-mallow man dad took the Ghostbusters around the neighborhood trick-or-treating and Slimer Mom got to stay home, watch t.v. and hand out candy. What? I did the hard work last year!
