Who says you can't meet your best friend for life in Kindergarten? Winnie and Emma met in Mrs. Westwood's kindergarten class at Chubbuck Elementary and became instant friends. The were lucky enough to land the same teacher, Miss Winder, for first grade. Sadly, Winnie moved to a new home and school for second grade, Emma headed to the Charter school, and they were no longer able to see each other every day. They only get together a handful of times each year now, but some friendships can stand the test of time and distance. It always takes these soft-spoken girls a few minutes to get chatting again, but they usually end the night laughing and begging to play for a few more minutes! I secretly hope that someday they can be college roommates!
