At age 8, they split the soccer league teams into boys and girls. Winnie found a fantastic team with some girls from her first grade class to join. Her new coach played college ball and really knows her stuff! Winnie learned more this season than she ever has before. It really started to show on the field in her games too!
Winn's really sprung up in height this year and sometimes she looks like she's running on long, newborn giraffe legs. Coach Bringhurst's practices have really helped Winn with her ball control and especially her coordination. The drills are tough man! But the girls are totally having fun, that's what matters.
If I remember right, they won all their games but two. So glad she's a part of this awesome team, still loving soccer and can keep growing as a player.
Watching our star player is such fun, even if we're freezing our butts off on the sidelines!!!
