Meet Tooder . . .

Last year when we moved to Oklahoma, June went through a very rough adjustment period.  To put it delicately, she threw a continuous temper tantrum for about three months.  She just really missed everyone back home and didn't really understand why we had to be here.  It broke our hearts to see her so devastated, and it was all I could do not to lose it when she was so naughty.  Anyways, I know bribery isn't always the best tool for parents to use, but I didn't want a relapse of what we went through last summer when we came back to Oklahoma.  So, we got a puppy as a surprise.  Well, actually Curt and Tish got puppy, Posey, and then nabbed her brother for us.  So meet Tooder W. Johnson.  He is a mini wiener dog mixed with some kind of terrier.  Let's just say our little ploy did the trick.  June is in love with Tooder, and I think he feels the same about her!

Tooder has been a very easy dog to have around, I think Curt and Tish did a little training before we got here because he already goes potty outside and waits at the door when he has to go!  What a relief!

So far, he hasn't done a thing to make us regret our decision.  He's just the cutest, most playful and laid back puppy I've ever seen.  He loves to be snuggled and gives the girls lots of kisses.  Even Kolby, who was a little reluctant to get a puppy, can't resist his charm.  His favorite thing to do is nuzzle right into Kolby's beard and sleep.  And strangely, he loves to eat the tomatoes out of our garden.  Is that normal?

And I think the best part is that he can have play dates with his sister Posey.  They seem to take out their playful aggression on each other and play pretty easy with the kids.  We're so glad we got Tooder!!!  We finally have a boy!!!

someone should have told Kolby that you can't resist the puppy love...it's when they get older and turn into paranoid freaks, thats when you regret your decission. Arlee saw the pics and said, "cute...HEY! I want a new puppy like June." But we shot the dream right out of the sky as soon as it escaped her lips.
He's a cutie that's for sure, and small enough you should bring him to meet the friends next year!Congrates on the new addition.

Whoever said bribery was a bad thing obviously didn't have toddlers! I think the name Tooder is adorable.

Tooder is very cute. Plus, every time I say his name I giggle like a little girl. I showed Caulder the pics of him and all he said was, "But June's not wearing any shoes." Clearly, the boy still has shoe issues. I blame his father.

What a cute little puppy. Sometimes I wish that we could get our girls a puppy but Richard is deathly alergic to any kind of pet hair. I guess if I ever want to get rid of Rich I could get an inside dog.
Thanks for always leaving the nicest comments on my blog. You are such an awesome person that I really appreciate all of your sweet comments. Your an awesome friend!
