This weekend, my brother Curt and I decided last minute to see Robert Plant and Alison Krauss in concert for their Raising Sand Tour. It's been a while since either of us has been to a concert, but we were both so glad we did! The tour wasn't even scheduled to come through Oklahoma City, but after Hurricane Ike, they had to cancel their show in Texas and decided to come North and donate all the proceeds from the show to hurricane relief. The show was AMAZING, we both had goosebumps the entire time! Imagine the best classic rock, blues and bluegrass combined into one big ball of musical genius! It's just one of those unforgettable shows that will never happen again and I feel so cool that I got to experience it! It has even inspired me to work out a few new riffs on my ol' mandolin, and I'm sure Curt's doing the same on his guitar!

Oh man, it has been forever that we have been to a concert. I am so glad that you guys had a great time. So, I think that Artic Circle gave us the problems. I need to remember that I don't like that place.
That sounds like so much fun!
I need to record myself performing "momma's little baby" and post it so you can experience some truly moving musical talent. The awesomeness would make you weep.
I loved Allison Krauss years ago...Im sure she's still great! How fun for you guys to go...The last concert I went to was a couple of years ago and it was Rascall Flatts (the one and only country music I will listen to now!) Buut concerts are way fun!
Oooh I am so jealous. I love Alison Krauss. She's SO AMAZING!! I love your comments on everyone's blogs by the way, your so dang funny!
I had a great time last night! We must do it again! : )
I bet that was one SWEET Concert. I'm a huge fan of Allison Krauss It's a good thing when I sing I sound just like her so I can give myself free concerts all the time. Anytime you want to have goosebumps again just give me a call.
