Last year we bounced back and forth to and from Utah for all the cousin summer birthdays. This year, we decided to celebrate all of them in one giant, amazing, kick-butt birthday party. We called it Cousin Camp and partied for 3 days!
Day 1: Hiking Payson Canyon
Kolby and Cole were in charge of teaching the kids a few survival skills in the wilderness. They had the kids attempting to catch fish with their nets (Kolby actually caught one with his bare hands), find edible berries and drinkable water, and build a fire with flint and steel or using the sun and a magnifying glass. I think at one point, they were eating ants!
We absolutely LOVE getting out into nature with the Johnson family! It just seemed like the perfect way to kick of Cousin Camp.
Yaya and the Babe always join in on the outdoor adventures. The Babe got to try out his new hiking poles, too.
The Botts supplied the little smokies for an afternoon snack and even the littlest guy enjoyed the day!
