I have gone back and forth about this post for a while now. Mostly because I was worried I would chicken out, but it looks like there's no turning back now that I have the red wristband. I figure I better just get this news off my chest. Call me crazy, but I have opted to become the target of public scrutiny and try out for American Idol. So today, Kolby and I got up at the crack of dawn and headed to the Energy Solutions Arena in Salt Lake to stand in line with the ginormous crowd and register for the big event. I'm not going to lie to you, I'm pretty dang nervous for my tryout on Tuesday. Most who know me know I LOVE to sing, but I'm really not that confident in my on-camera charisma. Hopefully I can be calm, cool and collected when I sing and not suffer a bout of nausea or worse, diarrhea. I'll post again if the impossible happens and I get through. If not, well, let's just pretend this post never happened . . .

I Have a Secret . . .

Jess, Jess, Jess...I have tried to call you for over 2 weeks just to tell you that I thought you should try out with me. I'm excited for you...a bit jealous. I was going to go and give my sweet Alanis Morissette impression but then I chickened out and decided to use Corby as my excuse! I'm WAY excited for you. Take lots of pics of the freaky ones and if you get to see simon cowell tell him you have a friend who was going to try out but just had a baby and wanted you to say he's quite the Stallion!

A while back on a post, you hinted that you had some sort of secret in the works.....and I thought to myself, "I hope she is trying out for AI or America's Got Talent...."
