We've been three chicks running wild on our own this week! And we capped off our girl-time with a slumber party! June was excited all day! She asked at 12:00 noon, "Mom, can we start the slumber party yet?" And then continued to ask every hour on the hour until it officially kicked off! 
We watched a movie of June's choice - "The Karate Kid Part II". What can I say, she really wants to learn some sweet nun chuck skills! We also gorged ourselves on movie grub - popcorn, licorice, and gummy worms. Winn's a pro, she can pack away two jumbo ropes at a time!
We partied all night - well, until 11:00 when mom couldn't keep her eyes open anymore! I think it was a night that June will remember. She told me as we were tuck, tuck, tucking into bed, "Mom, it was funner than my whole life!" I believe she meant it, until she woke up at 3:00 in the morning with a tummy ache! I asked her if she was going to throw up, and she said, "No, I just ate too much candy." Then she let fly a fart as loud as a thunderclap! I don't think I've laughed so hard in a long while! I asked her if she really just did that huge toot in my bed and she said, "I think Dad farted in here before he left." She then proceeded to fart the night away under the covers. In true slumber party fashion, we giggled all night long! p.s. In reference to the girls' room below, I was lucky enough to have my mom come for a few days and she helped me with a lot of the painting! She did the tree and the birds and most of the clouds. I wish I could have kidnapped her for a bit longer because she can do in a day what it takes me to do in a month! When we move home, we may start a mural business, so if you want a mural in about 3 years, let us know!

Ahhh- aren't you a nice mommy?! Karate Kid II huh? Sweeeeet. Your girls room is amazing! Did you do all of the painting? I am seriously so impressed. If you ever move back to Idaho, your hired! I LOVE the castle & the boards & the tree & the....everything.
Jess you are really the cutest mom ever!! Since I have 2 boys I totally get the whole tooting thing my word my boys are gassy! and a huge P.S. the girls room is ADORABLE!!! If you did that by yourself you rock!! Im so lame I had to hire a friend to mural my boy's rooms! CUTE CUTE CUTE!!!
That looks like so much fun. The girls room is so cute! I bet they are having so much fun with it. At least we still get to see the Nemo room for now haha..It will be fun to see you guys when you get here..
Their room is so cute. I'm going to have to hire your mom to do something with Caulder's room. We still don't even have anything on the walls yet. How does she feel about painting He-Man and Skeletor? ;)
And we should have a girls' slumber party when you guys get here. Caulder will probably have to come, but I'll make him wear a dress. And it will have to be at my house, and you'll have to make all the treats, and I won't be able to move off the couch... Man, I bet you're so excited. I'm so fun right now!
Look at you! You have been busy this summer so far. I love all the stories and the pictures. I love having the girls night out, and the movie treats.
When my girls toot, they will look around and say... what was that???? Like they don't really know.. it is really funny.
Your girls are so cute, and your garden is looking so great. I am wondering if it is ever going to get warm enough for ours to grow.
Oh, and your girls room is sooooooooooooo cool! You are amazing! It looks so perfect, and my fav. is the boards. They are soooo cute!
Your slumber party sounds like so much fun! Farting and all. haha. I laughed so hard reading that! Your kids sound so much like you. Not the farting part (at least I don't think so...haha...) but with their smart comments. And I'm so impresed with the painting murals! Nice job! You and your mom are so talented! We will definitely need murals to be done in the future. Oh no. I've been doing so good today and then I saw your pictures of licorice...Freak! There's another craving I'm going to have to fill. :)
