On Easter Sunday, the girls awoke to a cornucopia of delicious treats, compliments of Mr. Bunny himself! The bunny giveth, Mom and Dad taketh away, until after church, of course! What? You think we're going to get our kids all "hopped" up on sugar and then subject them to three hours of quiet time? No thank you! Besides, June really did pay attention in primary and learned why we celebrate Easter. It's the first time I think she really understood about our Savior's Resurrection. I've never seen her be quite so reverent and listen so intently.
Well, here we are in our Easter dresses all ready for church! Somehow, we all ended up in purple so we figured we'd better take one of those poser, family-matching portraits. Say Cheese!!!
We spent the afternoon at Aunt Becky's Easter Celebration! We ate way too much, but then got a little exercise while hunting high and low for eggs in the yard! June and McKenzie were inseparable! I think she's finally got a real friend!!! It was a fun-filled day, but the sugar jitters that plagued bedtime were another story!

You know purple is the color of royalty. Happy Easter!!
Looks like you guys had a fun Easter. And, yes my kids were out of control with the whole sugar thing. Then on Sunday, sacrament was todally crazy. We have a young ward so you could hardly hear the speakers, I don't even know what it was about.
So, I am super jelous about the warm weather, we work up today with a blizzard. They closed a bunch of roads. We were suposed to go snow boarding today but the road to Targee was closed. It was stinking cold today. This has been the hardest winter in a long time. We just might skip summer this year. I don't know if it will ever stop snowing:(
Oh, I forgot to tell you about the slide show. Just go to photobucket.com and follow the instructions. It is pretty easy and FREE.
Hey Jess! I loved reading your Easter post. I've never thought about that giving kids candy on Easter morning, and then trying to simmer them down for 3 hours of church. Huh...I am so coming to you for parent advice when the time comes...in a few years knowing my luck. You guys are the cutest family! I love looking at pics and seeing how much your girls look like you and Audra. I still need to write you. I'm horrible. I get so excited to get news, and then I think...oh I'll write tomorrow...and then what...3 weeks later. Just be patient cuz you know what a pain I am at keeping in touch. But I love you!!Looks like things are going well.
