Don't be fooled by the sweet, innocent looking faces pictured above. I had to capture this shot because loving moments between these two are few and far between. Yes, June and Winnie always love each other deep down, but their love is a battlefield! In fact, their relationship isn't much different than the one I had with my sister growing up. June's an intense, calculating whipper-snapper who's always got her eye on the best toy, best treat, best dress-up, etc. The great thing about her is that she knows what she wants and she doesn't hesitate to pursue it, especially when it comes to learning new things and she is the smartest 3-year-old I have ever known. Winn, on the other hand, has always got her head in the clouds. She hums to herself, is happy playing pretend on her own in her room, and can have fun with a piece of lint she found on the carpet. Watch out, though, if pushed too far by bossy big sister, the gentle giant blows her top. She already outweighs June by 2 pounds and June is learning very fast to give sister a wide birth, let her make her own decisions, and never rip a toy out of sister's hands. It's like I'm watching my life in re-runs! It's so surreal being on the outside of the arguments looking in and I find myself constantly saying, "Just love your sister, she's the only friend you've got!" and "Someday you might not have a sister close by and then you'll miss each other!" I've even resorted to singing "Love One Another," when things get dire! Thanks a lot, MOM!!! All I can say is, it's totally true, I miss my sister every day! Sorry Audra for all the cons, bloody battles, mind games, and, oh, steeling your date to prom. Wish we could have got a picture of us hugging it out on the couch for that one!

such a cute picture, Jess!! actually both of them are pretty darn cute. Hey, who are we watching for american idol? everytime I watch I think....what would Jess think? I know you usually pick 'em early on, so let me know. Yaya.
aaah. how is Auds these days?! :) I would NEVER have thought you 2 didn't get a long! hehe
Oh, I love it. Getting a taste of your own medicine. You're so funny.
Hey Jess~ Your girls are so cute. It is so funny how their little personalities start to come out. Cambria is so sweet and good but she does have a breaking point. Was June always small? I am a little nervous, granted Cambria only weighed 5 1/2 lbs when born but she is like in the
5th percentile, she is still pretty tiny. I am hoping she catches up.
Jess!! Oh my gosh! I can't believe it's you! I'm so excited you found me! Your girls are gorgeous and seriously look just like you. I can't believe you have two already...ok...that must be because I'm behind. haha. I have your email now so I'll be in touch. Mine hasn't changed...

Nicole, don't panic! June's first couple years of life were below the percentile chart completely! She's still a skinny minnie but she's shooting up like a weed! Totally healthy and normal. Your next will probably be a bruiser! Just like her daddy! I just wanna hug that baby Cam every time I visit your blog!
